The date for the Annual Meeting has been set for October 3rd at 7PM. Everyone is invited to attend the meeting, especially if you want to become involved with the show as a director or in some other capacity. For more information, you can e-mail the website at show@napan.com .
We understand there has been some inquiries regarding "Tenting" at the Napan Agr. Show fair gounds. Unfortunately, we have limited space available for Exhibitors of the show and we are unable to accommodate family members or the general public. We just do not have the man power to run a fair and a campground and make sure the people who do stay at the fair grounds enjoy a quiet and safe stay. Therefore, we have to limit the people who camp to just Exhibitors with trailers. We would like to recommend one of our new sponsors, Camping Miramichi, click on the link below for more information on their website, if you wish to tent while you attend the Napan Agr. Show.
The show ring will be closed for maintenance from Tuesday until the start of the show. Please, no horses in the show ring after Monday evening. Please pass the word on. Thanks!

The following is the list of entry forms, in the order they were received at the Napan Agricultural Show's post office box. Each envelope was numbered as it was taken out of the PO Box by the NAS Treasurer. The NAS Executive, Light Horse Director, Draft Horse Director and Announcing Director met at a special meeting on August 3rd and agreed that the number of Light Horse entries that can be accepted is 20 entries. The names in bold are the 20 entries that we are taking. There are two people in the top 20 that had to withdraw from the show, their names are still shown to clarify the order that the entries were received.. Submitted by John O'Shea, NAS Director
Attention those persons interested in the Light Horse - Weanling class. Due to logistical issues, that class has been cancelled. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
Class 10 should read "Napan Show 2010" and not "Napan Show 2009".
Attention Light Horse riders, the entry forms have been mailed out on July 11th.
Due to circumstances beyond the control of the Napan Agricultural Show, the deadline for entries has been extended until July 30th. We apologize for the inconvenience.
For potential cattle exhibitors, please be advised that we have adjusted the regulations regarding prize money for both Beef & Dairy Cattle. We have dropped the "80% of prize money with no competition" rule and the prize money has been increased as follows:

On July 1st, the Napan Agricultural Show entered a float in Miramichi's Canada Day Parade. Click here to see pictures from the parade!
We are pleased to announce that our Main Attraction this year will be the Paws for Fun - Agility Dog Show. Show times will be Saturday, August 13th at 6PM and Sunday, August 14th at 2PM. Click here to see a video of their show!
Within the next few days, we will have our schedule finalized, Prize Book available online as well as the entry forms. Light Horse entry form mailings will be announced at a later date. We will announce our main attraction later this week as well and for our 20th anniversary ... we are going to the dogs! So, stay tuned!

The Deadline for Entries for the Napan Agricultural Show is July 24, 2010. If you haven't received a Prize Book, contact a director or pick up a copy at City Limits Convenience in Napan. You can also go to our website to view the Prize Book and print off the entry forms.
Attention all Light Horse Competitors! The entry forms have been placed in the mail this morning (June 30, 2010)! You can expect your forms in your mailbox after today.

The Prize Book has been uploaded to the website, just click on the link on the home page that says "Prize Book". Please note: To view the Prize Book, you will need a "PDF Reader" such as Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader (recommended). If you need a PDF Reader, click on one of the links below. If you need help, e-mail the website at show@napan.com. Adobe Reader un-check "Free McAfee Security Scan Plus" and then click "Download" Foxit Reader and click on "Free Download" The printed copy of the Prize Book is now being put together and the Directors will be contacted when they are finished and ready to distribute. The 2010 entry forms (with the exception of Light Horse) can be found by clicking the "Entry Forms" link on the right side or by clicking here. You will need a PDF Reader to be able to print the entry forms off. If you use "Foxit PDF Reader, there is an option to type your information directly on the form before you print it. All entry forms have to be received by Saturday, July 25, 2010. For those people waiting patiently for their Light Horse entry form to arrive in their mailbox, they have not been sent out yet. However, it will be soon and as soon as they are dropped into the mailbox, it will be posted here in the Latest News section and on our facebook page. So hang in there!
