Ty Cardacey was named Best Trick Roper at the recent International Wild West Arts Convention. Additionally, he received the prestigious Will Rogers Memorial Association Award "Best Comedy Cowboy" for his portrayal of Will Rogers in an act from his new show, "How the West was Spun," which saw it's 2006 World Premiere off Broadway in New York City.

Ty Cardacey garnered the Bronze Medal in the Men's World's Biggest Lasso Competition in 2007 and in 2008 spun the second largest lasso in the world at the 20th Anniversary of the National Cowbow Symposium were he also entertained as Will Rogers.
