Division III - Dairy
Exhibitor Information
  • The entry fee is $7.50 per animal (non-refundable)
  • Each breeding unit is allowed a maximum of 10 head excluding the Breeders Herd & Get of Sire classes.
  • All exhibits must be owned and registered (appropriate association) in the name of the exhibitor.
  • Breeds with no competition will only be awarded 80% of the prize money.
  • Trophies will be presented for:
    • Best Udder Female
    • Champion
    • Reserve Champion

Calf Classes
1 Junior Calf born March 1, 2009 - August 1, 2009      
2 Intermediate Calf born December 1, 2008 - February 28, 2009

Yearling Classes
4 Summer Yearling born June 1, 2008 - August 31, 2008      
5 Junior Yearling born March 1, 2008 - May 31, 2008      
6 Intermediate Yearling born December 1, 2007 - February 28, 2008      
7 Senior Yearling born September 1, 2007 - November 30, 2007      
Female Classes
8 Female - 2 year old, born September 1, 2007 - August 31, 2008. (In milk, dry, or not yet calved for the first time).      
9 Female - 3 year old, born September 1, 2006 - August 31, 2007. (In milk or dry. If dry, must be within approx. 8 weeks of calving).      
10 Female - 4 year old, born September 1, 2005 - August 31, 2006. (In milk or dry. If dry, must be within approx. 8 weeks of calving).      
11 Female - 5 year old, born September 1, 2004 - August 31, 2005. (In milk or dry. If dry, must be within approx. 8 weeks of calving).      
12 Female - Mature Cow, born prior September 1, 2004. (In milk or dry. If dry, must be within approx. 8 weeks of calving).      
Group Classes
13 Breeder's Herd - Bred and owned b exhibitor. Group of 4 animals but not more than one bull. Each animal in the group must have been exhibited in one of the classes for single animals. The registration certificates for each of the respective animals must show the exhibitor as "breeder" and as "owner", in both cases, either as an individual or in partnerships. (In other words, the exhibitor may be a "joint owner" of the animal.) All of the animals must be from one farm or breeding unit.      
14 Best Udder Class - Judge shall designate best 3 udders in classes 9, 10, 11, & 12. These designated exhibits shall compete for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd best udders in theshow.
